“Eternal rest”🌼 highlights the importance of the Day of the Dead in Mexico 💀 and its relationship with living beings that act as bridges between two worlds, such as bats 🦇 and the Cempasúchil flower. This flower, crucial in the celebration, is pollinated by nectar-feeding bats that feed on its nectar . This relationship is essential for the reproduction of cempasúchil (marigolds) and emphasizes the importance of bats in Mexican ecosystems .

Es un honor para nosotros presentar esta muestra, que rinde homenaje a la belleza y la profundidad de las tradiciones culturales y espirituales que rodean el Día de los Muertos. A través de las obras de arte de Jacobo y María Ángeles, hemos intentado capturar la esencia de la celebración de la vida y la conexión con nuestros seres queridos que ya no están con nosotros.

Aprovechamos esta oportunidad para agradecer a todos los artistas, curadores y miembros del equipo de la Galería MANO por su arduo trabajo y dedicación para hacer que esta exposición sea un éxito.

La exposición y la Ofrenda de Muertos estará abierta al público durante las próximas semanas, y esperamos que sigan visitándonos para apreciar y reflexionar sobre la vida y la muerte a través del arte.

We are honored to present this exhibition, which pays homage to the beauty and depth of the cultural and spiritual traditions surrounding the Day of the Dead. Through the artwork of Jacobo and María Ángeles, we have attempted to capture the essence of the celebration of life and the connection with our loved ones who are no longer with us.

We take this opportunity to thank all the artists, curators and team members of MANO Gallery for their hard work and dedication to make this exhibition a success.

The exhibition and the Ofrenda de Muertos will be open to the public for the next few weeks, and we hope you will continue to visit us to appreciate and reflect on life and death through art.
